April 2008 - Edward Sampson Settles Commercial Truck Wreck Fatality.
Edward Sampson represented the family of a man living in San Antonio who was killed on his way home from work when a tractor trailer negligently pulled in front of his vehicle. After two years of litigation, Edward successfully negotiated the wrongful death settlement for the family. May 2006 - Edward Sampson Obtains Significant Confidential Settlement for Injured Driver.
Edward Sampson negotiated a settlement with the owners of a trucking company for damages associated with spinal injuries that his client received when the client's vehicle was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer. After the lawsuit was filed, Edward discovered that the driver of the truck had distance and perception problems that prevented him from knowing when to apply the brakes of his 18 wheeler. The significant settlement occurred within one month of the discovery of the distance and perception difficulties of the defendant driver.

January 2005 - Edward Sampson Settles Medical Malpractice Lawsuit During Trial.
Edward Sampson negotiated a confidential settlement with an emergency room physician after Edward presented the mother of the deceased victim for her testimony at trial. The decedent had visited the emergency room at a local hospital for a headache and the emergency room doctor had ordered two 8mg doses of Dilaudid, a drug 10 times more powerful than morphine. The deceased victim was found dead in her bed later that night.

February 2003 - Edward Sampson Obtains Verdict for $356,800 after Surgeon Leaves 4 Sponges in Patient.
Edward Sampson obtained a verdict in the amount of $356,800.00 for injuries that his client suffered after a surgical team negligently left three sponges in the client during a hysterectomy procedure. The sponges caused the client to have an infection that called for a subsequent surgery to correct. Prior to trial, the hospital refused to offer any money to settle the case. The hospital paid the majority of the judgment that was entered in the case. After the judgment was paid, the client received $206,100.44 and the attorney fees were $121,472.00. August 2001 - Edward Sampson Settles Gas Well Explosion.
Edward Sampson was on the litigation team that settled a gas well explosion in Northern Louisiana where seven workers were killed. Edward and his office represented two families whose family members perished in the preventable and tragic explosion. The substantial confidential settlement will provide financial support for both families for their future.
